Violence In The Workplace
Workplace violence is the number one cause of homicide in the United States, according to FBI research. An estimated 225,000 to 300,000 acts of workplace violence occur each year. In light of these disturbing numbers, a proactive approach to preventing violent in the workplace is a practical reality and legal necessity. This workshop examines profiles of individuals most likely to perpetrate violence in the workplace and those of individuals most likely to be victims. A member of local law enforcement may be present to answer questions, if desired.

causes of violence and methods of prevention.
techniques to identify potentially violent individuals.
success models used to prevent violence.
